8 months!

My sweet boy, I cannot believe you are already 8 months old (and have been for nearly two weeks now :))! We have had a fun month full of football, cool weather, and your first Halloween and Thanksgiving! We also had to go to the doctor for another sick visit. You seemed to have a cold you just couldn't get rid of, so you also took your first round of antibiotics, which you did a great job with! You were 19 lbs at your sick visit, at the end of this month we'll go in for your nine month check up and get your official measurements. You are wearing 6-12 month clothes, some 6 month onesies (mostly 9 month though), and size 3 diapers! At night your cloth diapers are let out all the way since I double or triple stuff them. Now, on to the fun stuff!

You LOVE bath time! Now that you're in the big boy bathtub and can sit up and play with toys you are having so much fun! You don't like to get in while the water is still running though, I think the noise scares you...

Sporting your cute monster hat around Halloween :)

Daddy and I took you to the neighborhood park! You weren't too impressed with with the swing just yet, but you seemed to enjoy it a little.

You and Daddy tried out the slide as well.

For Halloween you were a football! I made your costume using a brown onesie and some sticky felt. Daddy wore a football jersey and carried you around all evening, it was so cute!

You and Charlotte are starting to really notice each other now and interact. When we were shopping on this particular day you kept grabbing her hand, it was so sweet!

My handsome boys on Thanksgiving! You loved your first Thanksgiving and getting to taste all of the yummy food! Speaking of food, right around 8 months we also started feeding you three meals a day. Your eating schedule is now something like this: BF around 7 am when you wake up, breakfast around 8:30- usually yogurt mixed with fruit and cereal, BF around 11, lunch around 12:30ish- a fruit and veggie, bf around 4, dinner at 5:30 or so- Veggie and cereal, bottle around 7:30 and then to bed right after! You sometimes wake up around 3 or 4 am to be fed again, but in the last week you have been cutting that out, which Mommy really loves :) You aren't crawling around yet, but you are definitely lunging and reaching out for things as far as you can. We'll see what the next month holds!
We love you SO SO much Weston, and I am looking forward to our first Christmas with you!
